3rd National Conference on Promoting & Reinvigorating Agri-Horti Technological Innovations

This is the First National Conference of the GREENAGRI PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY, DHANBAD, JHARKHAND for whom, on behalf, the event isbeing hosted, managed by Shri Gajendra Parmar, MBA Secretary, GAPS &Proprietor, Parmar Publication , PPD, Dhanbad, Jharkhand and will be hosted atthe Hotel Sambodhi Retreat, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The idea to organise thePRAGATI- 2019 is to positively impact agriculture and the ability for theagricultural industry to meet ever increasing quality food supply needs. Thereare new opportunities as a number of technologies and innovation are changingthe way the traditional agriculture and farming was carried out. Innovationsrevive collective power of people, providing small producers with access tomarkets, resources and credit. The increase in production has to be achievedunder conditions of declining and deteriorating land, soil and water resourcesand at the same time preserving the environmental quality. It will be indeeddiffcult to meet these dauntingchallenges only with the application of conventional techniques and tools, asno headway is being made through these approaches. This warrants a newknowledge , technology driven based approach keeping in view the resourceavailability, cropping system, cropping intensity and nutrient own in the system to economise input costs and improvefactor productivity. When the rules of the farming have changed and more andmore innovations led farming are factly changing the scenario at farm levels inIndia and abroad, it is here that a lesson or two learning will lead touprising among the farmers. It is In this context, PRAGATI-2019 is conceptualised with the hope that deliberations by eminent and galaxy ofspeakers may provide a vibrant approach to raise the productivity for the smalland marginal farmers of India. Considering this, PRAGATI -2019 is conceptualised with the following themes Theme 1. Innovations for agriculturaland rural development -Breeding and Biotechnological Approaches Theme 2.Innovations in micro irrigation tools and techniques/Water management/NewAgronomy Theme 3. Horticultural innovations Theme 4. Carbon Farming/CarbonCredits for small and marginal farmers/Climate Change Initiative Theme 5.Innovations in Disease and Pests management Theme 6. Innovative approaches inSustainable Soil Management Theme 7. Strategies for doubling farmersincome/Policies and Economics of Protable Agriculture &Bridging the Digital divide Theme 8. Farmers innovations /Extension/Social andIndigenous technical knowledge Scope of the Conference: The focus of theconference will be on the exchange of in formations, innovations, newdiscoveries, cross fertilisation of ideas and research outcomes so as to evolveways and means to address the practical challenges encountered in all aspectsof agriculture and horticulture by small and marginal farmers . Clientele:Delegation from basic to agricultural to any streams of sciences are welcomerelevant to the thematic areas of the national conference PRAGATI-2019.Submission of Full Length Research Paper: Full length research paper, maximumin 6-8 pages should be submitted by November 30th, 2019 through email at gajendraparmar2562@gmail.comJournal of Entomology and Zoology Studies will be publishing all the acceptedresearch papers in their special isues (NAAS Rating 5.53) . For more withregards to publishing research papers, and the guidelines, plagiarism issues,contact our technical advisor, Dr Amarendra. Delegates having full length paperin the conference accepted need not to pay any other registration amount of theconference and their registration amount will be waived out completely.However, they will continue to enjoy full other benets of the conference. They also can publish twoabstracts and those will be included free of cost in the Abstract Proceedingsbook. Abstract Submission: Abstracts not exceeding 250 words on any of theaforesaid themes should be sent to any of our Organising Secretaries or Throughemail at gajendraparmar2562@gmail.com on or before 30th November, 2019.Intimation of acceptance of abstract will be within 48 to 72 hrs of submissiontime.

Dr. Varsha Rani is having incredible versatility in the field of education and research. Currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Crop Physiology at Birsa agricultural University, Kanke, Ranchi. She has served BAU, Ranchi as visiting faculty for the course of Crop Physiology. She is collaborator of AICRP Rice and PFDC project. She is also having administrative experience of being Dy. Warden of girl’s hostel at BAU, Ranchi. She has published in her name several research papers in journals of repute, Review article, book chapter, Book, extended summary. She has delivered oral and poster presentations in several seminars, symposiums and conferences. She has been felicitated by various professional societies viz. Young scientist award in Agriculture science 2017 by International multidisciplinary research foundation, Young scientist of the year award 2016 by International foundation of Environment and Ecology, Awarded with Paryavaran Godavari Award by Godavari Academy of Science and Technology, Environment & Social Welfare Society, Chhatarpur, M.P, Outstanding Achievement Award by PRAGATI-2017, World sustainable Agricultural Development Award-2017 by Scientific and Environmental Research Institute. She has served as resource person for delivering lectures to personnel who are engaged in extension and development of agriculture (In organizations like SAMETI, ATMA etc), Krishak Gosthi, Kisan Mela etc. for the farmers. She is life member of several scientific societies. She has contributed in the field of academics as question paper setter and external examiner for practical exams of several Institutes. She has efficiently discharged her duties as guest editor of scientific journals for special issues as well as editor of SARR Journal. She is good at event management and has served in coordinating the events in Millet, Soyabean, Wheat & Barley, Safflower & Linseed workshops conducted at BAU. She has also served as coordinator and Joint Secretary in several national and International Conferences. She has served the farming community by disseminating knowledge through TV and AIR talk. She has served in University annual Sports as field judge for girl’s events. She has been recipient of prestigious DST-INSPIRE fellowship and ICAR JRF during her doctorate and masters respectively.
